Variable length bulkhead - This bulkhead is designed to accommodate all wall thicknesses of UP TO 1.5". The threaded nipple is straight thread rather than tapered (NPT) therefore the locknuts can thread the entire length.
This bulkhead is especially well suited for that you must drill through the wall instead of taking advantage of an existing spout. The thick flat silicone washers much less likely to slip out from under the locknut and provide a better seal .They are also capable of covering oversized holes such as those found in round coolers.
