This is a multiuse hop in the brewery where it can be used to deliver an extremely crisp bitter edge on the back palate as well as excellent aroma qualities. As with most New Zealand varieties the exceptional oil profile sets it apart as a hop with many applications.
Can be used in Lagers and Ales where its slight resinous character builds to develop an excellent bitterness. Mixes well with aroma varieties to create first rate new-world and classic beer styles. Dr Rudi is a super alpha hop which can be utilised in the boil or for later on for great aroma and flavour. On the palette you will fine lemongrass, pine needles and citrusy passion fruit flavours.
